Fun in the Sun!!!

Owen discovered that he really likes “Glaba” juice (guava juice)…

An update on the Hammond clan to fill in some of the highlights of 2009 that have (up until now) not been documented on this blog…

There is always fun to be had in Fairbanks in March as we enjoy the ice sculptures, slides and playgrounds at the International Ice Sculpting Championships.

Summer of ‘09 meant lots of family time as we got to spend the whole summer in SLC. We had great times at with all the family and loved every minute of it.

Maggie, Beth, and Izzie were able to check out the Electron microscope with Maama

We had fun at the Zoo, This is the Place State Park, Swimming, playing at Grams, having parties and play dates with the cousie-pals, and the list goes on and on.

Owen also learned how to ride his bike this summer. He took a nasty fall the first time he rode, but he got right back on the bike and mastered it!

Beth was baptized on July 5th, 2009. We are so proud of our beautiful girl and felt an overwhelming amount of gratitude for the love and support we received from our amazing families!!!

Isabel turned 7 years old on July 24th. Thanks to the family for celebrating at Northcrest pool with us!!!

Tom has made a fun tradition of raking and playing in the leaves every fall. This fall was no exception. They even adding “catching the falling leaves” as part of the fun.

The first snow marks the beginning of the long cold winter… and the ski season!

Beth, Isabel and Owen love (and I do mean love) stuffed animals. We are trying to get up the courage to give some of them away, and so the kids wanted to make sure we had a picture of each one…

In October some of the sisters got together at Booshy’s for one fabulous time! VA and DC were awesome, but the best was getting some sister time!!!
